-- Művészetek palotája --

Az általunk elkészített dió furnéros térgörbe burkolat befoglaló mérete 150m hosszú és 20m magas, a felület térgeometriája egy gömbölyű hajóorrt utánoz, több íves kiegészítéssel.

VOLGA

A vast body of water flowing majestically - the inspiration for this exquisite wooden panel with its long, curving bends was the longest and widest river in Europe, the Volga, winding endlessly across the continent. Sinuous river-bed-like hollows and flat areas representing land alternate harmoniously on this wall covering, suggesting that these two simply cannot live without each other – just like in nature.

TUNGUSKA

The panel named after the Siberian Tunguska was inspired by the largest impact event on Earth. Its convex spherical shapes emerge from the stately surface symbolizing the way the explosion left its devastating mark on a vast range of land at the beginning of the 20th century. As these shapes overlap, the intertwining circles also form curving rhombuses which mysteriously grow over the circles just like the orb arrived into the atmosphere and turned into a fireball – unexpectedly, but heavily with meaning.

SHAMAL

Elemental forces fight each other on the wall covering that got its name from the Shamal wind. The image of the mild breeze and the golden dust in the tranquil Persian Gulf suddenly and violently shaken up by the overwhelming power of the sandstorm is represented by the unpredictable pattern of the prominences bulging from the plane. Shamal captures the eternal fight of the different forces in nature.

MONTANA

This state in the northern part of the US would not be so famous if it was not the home of the beautiful Yellowstone national park, the oldest of its kind in the world. The magnificent display of nature’s wonders also inspired the designer of Moko Interior. The slightly irregular circles symbolize the active volcanoes, calderas, mountains, rivers and basins found in this territory with a human history at least 11 thousand years old. The Montana panels pay tribute to their exhaustible source of inspiration – nature.

MATRA

The Matra mountain range took millions of years to form as a result of several stages of volcanic activity on the territory of today’s Hungary. The design of the panels reflects the distinctive character and aura of Matra. shaped by the forces of nature, this mystical world projects mysterious power and dominance. Spaces adorned with Matra panels are multi-faceted, as is the mountain itself, showing a new face on approach from every direction. High peaks and steep slopes alternate with gentle valleys. The play of light on the mountains never gets repetitive. The view changes every minute as clouds circle the ranges, stroking the hillsides before pouncing on the slopes.

KALAHARI

The resolute lines which serve as ridges for the low prominences rising from the surface of this wall covering echo the sparse hills and rocks among the sand dunes that make the Kalahari Desert more colorful. This abstract looking wall leaves us with a strong and unwavering impression, but the play of light can turn it into something as mysterious and surprising as the African plateau of the same name with its termite mounds and other peculiarities.

DOVER

Dover is a peaceful and pretty English town where, if you take a walk to the white chalk cliffs it is famous for, you can hear the relaxing, monotonous murmur of the waves washing against the rock. This is the atmosphere evoked by the unique  panel of the same name. Refreshing to look at, it quietly stays in the background, satisfied with its own calming, pure appearance. Like the cliffs in Dover, it does not wish to take the leading part, it just stands there with the fine ripples of the sea on its surface, making the space around it more beautiful and special.

CALAIS

One of the most exciting panel designs was inspired by Calais, the town on the narrowest point of the English Channel – just opposite Dover. The highlighted part is not mentioned in the original, I just think it’s a nice parallel between the “opposite” panels and the opposite towns. The curving hollows seem to diverge at first sight, suggesting differentness and separation, but after a few imaginary twists we can get a perfect circle and arrive at unity. This unity and spirit of cohesion characterized the 14th century Burghers of Calais as well, whose heroic self-sacrifice was immortalized in the famous Rodin statue.

BURAN

A violent windstorm of the Eurasian Steppes, accompanied in summer by dust and in winter by snow, offers a mesmerizing spectrum of swirls battling through the region. The wooden panel captures and mirrors this surging wind. The rhythm between the sleekly merging and re-emerging contours symbolizes life’s eternal cycle – for dust you are and to dust you will return.

BONDI

The inspiration for this wall covering was one of Australia’s most popular spots, the 1 km long Bondi Beach near Sydney. Looking at the massive vertical waves running parallel to each other in perfect harmony one can almost smell the salty scent of the Tasman Sea and see the colourful whirl of swimmers, surfers and sunbathers. The idyllic image of the wind and the sea working the shore together suggests a sense of freedom, and if you want to take this freedom into the interior of your choice, then Bondi is the perfect solution.

AMAZONAS

Rich, winding, unpredictable like the Earth’s most abounding river that crosses South America, like the hollows and bulges on the wooden panel, Amazonas. The transcontinental river with its complicated system of natural canals is the inspiration behind the gripping outline of the Amazonas panel; a surface of chic and graceful streak flowing down a dry riverbed disrupting any monochrome field.

Alaska

The starting point for this panel was the northernmost part of the USA, the snowy and icy state of Alaska. The playful and thought-provoking, crater-like hollows evoke the transition from the hardness of ice to the softness of snow and finally to the shapelessness of thaw. In Alaska, the diverse weather conditions and the ample variety of landforms are matter-of-course yet distinctive at the same time – just like this unique panel in an enclosed space.
